From the roof to the crawl space, we inspect every inch of your home.

What Sets Us Apart:

Our inspections are conducted by a team rather than by a lone home inspector. Team inspections enable us to inspect the home with a deeper level of detail and give you a thorough introduction to the home. Because we work in teams, we are able to finish the inspection faster.

Each team is comprised of one inspector and one assistant technician. For larger homes and estates an additional inspector on the job allows us to complete the job faster. Additionally, the inspector will give you a thorough overview of the home and show you how to use and maintain the home. For example, he will show you how to turn on and off the homes mechanicals and give you an overview on how to maintain them over time.

No waiting for your inspection report:
Our inspection reports are printed on-site and submitted to you at the conclusion of the inspection. These highly detailed reports include photographic documentation of the home’s infrastructure. A PDF of the inspection report is also emailed to you and your real estate agent on the day of the inspection.

Every inspection also includes services that other agencies typically charge for:
• Termite Inspection with 6-month warranty
• Walk-through on day of your closing

Worry-free antique homes.
Due to our experience and qualifications in inspecting antique homes, we can provide an accurate assessment of these properties.

We go the extra mile — You get details often missed by other agencies.
For example, we always climb up onto the house for the roof inspection; many other inspection companies only provide a “visual” inspection from the ground. We’ll squeeze into a crawlspace, climb through an attic hatch or investigate a tight nook to make sure we’ve seen every inch of the property.

Termite & Pest Inspections

Termites cause billions of dollars in damage each year. They primarily feed on wood, but also damage paper, books, insulation, and even swimming pool liners and filtration systems. Termites can injure living trees and shrubs, but more often are a secondary invader of woody plants already in decline. While buildings may become infested at any time, termites are of particular importance when buying or selling a home since a termite inspection/infestation report is typically a condition of sale. Besides the monetary impact, thousands of winged termites emerging inside one’s home are an emotionally trying experience — not to mention the thought of termites silently feasting on one’s largest investment.

All home inspections include a comprehensive and thorough inspection for termites. We are so confident in our termite inspections that we offer a 6-month warranty for no additional charge.

Other wood destroying insects included with our inspections are:
Carpenter Ants
Carpenter Bees
Powder Post Beetles

We will also inspect the home for various other pests, including but not limited to:
Mice
Squirrels
Bats
Cave Crickets

Radon Testing – Real time radon results.

Radon is an odorless, invisible gas and is second only to cigarette smoking as the leading cause of lung cancer.  Each year about 21,000 Americans die from lung cancer caused by exposure to radon. Testing is is a simple and inexpensive way to know if your home has elevated levels of radon.

Our exclusive use of high-tech digital radon tests provide real-time results; no waiting up to a week for lab results from the old-fashioned charcoal tests that are used by many other inspection agencies. Our radon devices are also much more accurate and, because they register an air reading every hour, are less prone to tampering. If there are uncommon fluctuations in the readings, it can be a sign that the device was tampered with. On the day of the inspection we place the device in the home and retrieve it 48 hours later. One of our certified Radon inspectors analyzes the electronic results immediately and sends a report to you by email. If we discover anything unusual we will call you to discuss solutions.

Our inspectors are certified by The National Radon Safety Board to perform and evaluate all radon tests.
